One of the most unique aspects of our practice is how long we’ve been able to serve the Quarryville community.
The practice was started by Dr. Robert Hess in 1939. Dr. Hess is a native of Quarryville and opened the original practice downtown on East State St. Dr. Hess maintained a solo practice until 1972 when Dr. Roger Brown joined the practice.
In the late 1970s Dr. Brown bought the practice from Dr. Hess and moved the practice to the current location on West 4th Street. In 1980 he took on a new associate, Dr. Michael McMullen and the two doctors practiced together for 10 years. The third partner, Dr. David Wisse, joined in 1990 and shortly after the practice took on the current name, Brown-McMullen-Wisse Dental Associates.
In the early 2000s the practice took on two new associates, Dr. Tim Bonner and Dr. Matthew Costa who eventually would buy the practice from the namesake owners and forge the current partnership that the practice is managed under today.
